Position Overview
As an Aftermarket Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting Rockford equipment throughout its operating life by coordinating parts supply, warranty support, and service-related inquiries.
This role owns aftermarket requests from initial inquiry through resolution. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure parts are supplied accurately, issues are addressed proactively, and client deliverables and timelines are responsibly established and successfully executed.
The Aftermarket Coordinator plays a critical role in protecting equipment uptime and maintaining long-term client confidence. This position requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple requests in parallel while prioritizing urgent field issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and assess aftermarket requests, distinguishing between parts, warranty, service, and technical issues.
- Coordinate and quote replacement parts, service items, and purchased components.
- Review and process client purchase orders, confirm scope, pricing, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate procurement and shipping of aftermarket parts, ensuring accurate ordering and timely delivery.
- Triage equipment issues and coordinate with Engineering or Manufacturing when technical clarification or resolution is required.
- Track warranty claims and corrective actions from intake through resolution.
- Provide clear and professional communication to clients regarding timelines, scope, pricing, and issue status.
- Proactively follow up on open issues that impact equipment operation or client confidence in our solution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of orders, equipment history, communications, and commercial details.
- Monitor aftermarket performance trends and report recurring issues or risks that impact equipment reliability.
- Conduct periodic client check-ins to assess equipment status, reliability, operability, and overall satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 510 years of experience in aftermarket support, parts coordination, service coordination, project coordination, or procurement within industrial equipment or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment, parts supply, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience coordinating across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and client-facing roles.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to apply pricing and warranty policies consistently.
- Background in mechanical, industrial, or related technical field.
- Valid class 5 drivers license.
- Ability to pass criminal record check.
