Job Summary:
Dean-Lane is looking for an Estimating Administrator to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
The duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with managing incoming bid opportunities and organizing bid schedules. Post and track public tenders from platforms such as Link2Build, Invitely Prime, and Bids & Tenders. Contact any GC to determine which jobs they are biding on.
- Manage CRM system with accurate tracking of bids and awarded projects. Ensure files are in the correct format for AutoBid.
- Support the estimating team with project setup tasks as required.
- Obtain and track incoming supplier quotes and ensure they are properly filed and accessible. Follow up with suppliers to ensure information is accurate based on the job.
- Upon award, organize all quotes, estimates, drawings, and related documents into the project folder.
- Update complete quote tracking sheet.
- Track addendums and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide assistance with quotes by ensure all data is entered accurately such as counts for fixtures, equipment and quoted items, fill out any data for prequalification.
- Provide general administrative support to the estimating including document filing such as DropBox, OneDrive or Allprise documents.
Requirements:
- Previous administrative or coordination experience, ideally within construction, estimating, or project environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Schedule and Location:
- In office, Monday to Friday 7:30 4:00
