The hiring rate for this role is $22.05 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

To be successful as our new COOK, you will:
- Be a graduate of Chef Training or Culinary Management Diploma from an accredited college
- Possess a food safety certification
- Be able to lift up to 35lbs
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
- Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the COOK role
It would be an asset if our new COOK has:
- Acquired a Red Seal designation
- Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
- Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to the retirement and long-term care sector
