Freelance Beauty Advisor Makeup + Skincare
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Part-Time (16 to 24 hours per week)- Must be available Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays and Mondays or Tuesdays
About the Role: Are you passionate about beauty brands including cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and customer engagement?We are looking for an experienced, professional, and dynamic Beauty Advisor to provide expert, personalized consultations in a fast paced retail environment.This role is ideal for someone who loves advising and educating customers, building the basket, and representing brands known for their effectiveness and innovation.As a Beauty Advisor, you will combine your in-depth skincare and makeup knowledge, strong customer service skills, and sales mindset to inspire confidence, maximize sales, and support customers in there purchase.
Pay: starting at $20/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Makeup and Skincare Consultations
- Provide personalized recommendations based on skin needs
- Perform mini consultations and recommend tailored routines or complimentary items
- Showcase new launches and trending products to customer, educate on benefits and USP
- Educate Walmart Beauty staff to continue sales after you leave
Sales & Client Experience
- Achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional service
- Create a warm, professional, and memorable customer experience in a fast paced setting
Training & Product Expertise
- Represent the brand with professionalism and credibility
- Educate on ingredients, product benefits, and routines
In-Store Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with staff
- Contribute to a welcoming and high-performing environment
Ideal Profile: Strong experience in skincare, makeup and retail settings
Excellent sales and customer service skills
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to simplify routines
Passion for beauty education and makeup
