Inside Sales Representative Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support sales growth by engaging customers, generating new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service across a diverse client base. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities, developing strong customer relationships, preparing quotations and orders, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience from initial inquiry through order completion. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, experience in inside sales or customer service, the ability to build rapport with customers, and a proactive, goal‑oriented approach to driving revenue.
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to support long‑term retention and ongoing sales opportunities
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, convert leads into sales, and initiate outbound prospecting activities such as cold calling and follow‑ups
- Prepare pricing quotations, discuss credit terms, process sales orders, and maintain accurate reporting of sales activities
- Collaborate closely with the Outside Sales team to ensure alignment on customer needs and business development strategies
- Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner while balancing customer satisfaction with company objectives
- Source out‑of‑stock or specialty items to meet customer requirements and ensure timely delivery
- Keep customer data accurate and up to date within internal systems and CRM tools
- Monitor market trends and share insights to support sales strategy and planning
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory to maximize sales potential
- Maintain detailed records of calls, orders, follow‑ups, and general sales activities
Your strengths include: - Post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in cold calling and inside sales, preferably in a B2B environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust with customers
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Detail‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving and negotiation abilities
- A collaborative, team‑oriented approach with the ability to work well cross‑functionally
