Position Summary
We’re hiring experienced painters for ongoing residential and commercial projects across Edmonton.
This role is ideal for painters who:
- Show up when they say they will
- Can work independently or as part of a crew
- Understand prep matters as much as finish
- Care about clean lines, consistency, and efficiency
Responsibilities
- Interior painting (walls, ceilings, trim, doors, base & case)
- Proper prep: patching, sanding, caulking, masking
- Rolling, brushing, spraying (as applicable)
- Working in occupied and vacant units
- Maintaining clean, professional job sites
- Communicating progress or issues clearly with site leads
- Following scopes exactly (no guesswork)
Required Experience & Skills (this is the filter)
- 2+ years professional painting experience (not DIY)
- Strong prep skills (this is non-negotiable)
- Ability to cut clean lines without tape when required
- Knowledge of primers, sealers, and proper paint systems
- Reliable transportation and basic tools
- Comfortable working in multi-unit buildings
- Ability to meet production timelines without sacrificing quality
Bonus (Nice-to-Have)
- Spray experience (airless)
- Experience with large apartment turns
- Lead or crew supervision experience
- Own spray equipment
- Familiarity with Edmonton construction standards
