Role Overview Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Wine Associate represents The Hare brand while creating exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities * Deliver exceptional guest service * Lead wine tastings and food pairings * Recommend and sell wines and promote winery offerings * Maintain cleanliness and organization * Assist with events and reservations (Commerce7) * Handle guest feedback professionally * Follow Smart Serve guidelines * Create a safe, inclusive environment Qualifications * 2+ years in retail, hospitality, or customer service * Passion for wine (Ontario wine knowledge an asset) * Smart Serve certification required * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods * Flexible availability (weekends & some evenings) * Reliable transportation * Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills What We’re Looking For A team-oriented, detail-driven individual who is: * Guest-focused and service-driven * Sales-minded and confident * Proactive and collaborative Assets: Second language, wine/hospitality experience Compensation & Perks * Hourly rate of $17.60 plus tips * Incentives (wine club & guest reviews) and wine & merchandise discounts * Training and development for selling wine. * Flexible scheduling * The opportunity to join an amazing and growing team in wine country.
