As an Autobody Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles that have been damaged due to accidents or other incidents. Using your expertise in automotive body repair, you will assess vehicle damage, perform necessary repairs, and ensure vehicles are restored to their pre-damage condition. Your role will involve a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and customer service to meet the needs and expectations of our clients.
Job Duties:
- Perform damage assessments by examining Vehicles and using diagnostic tools to determine what repairs are needed.
- Repair vehicles per estimate and according to standards.
- Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
- Review the damage report and estimates of repair costs and plan the work to be done.
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming, and then applying paint to vehicles to match original colours and textures.
- Keep up with industry advancements, new repair techniques, and safety regulations to perform repairs effectively and safely.
Successful Candidates Possess:
- Autobody Repairer Licence.
- 2+ Years of Autobody experience.
- Detail-oriented and demonstrate superior quality in all work produced.
- Exceptional awareness and compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
- Resourceful with a vision to grow within the company.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, clean environment.
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
