Salary: $30-$38 per hour
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependableScaffolding Foreman to join our construction team. In this role, you will oversee all scaffolding operations on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site requirements. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage crews across different job sites.
Duties
- Supervise the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems
- Ensure all work complies with site safety standards and fall protection requirements
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure scaffolding is safe and secure
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades
- Lead and manage scaffold crew to maintain productivity and safety
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and site plans
Requirements
- Proven experience in scaffolding (assembly and dismantling)
- Previous foreman or lead-hand experience required
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle (car)
- Scaffolding certifications/tickets are an asset
Nice to Haves:
- Have own vehicle or reliable transportation
- Has Fall Protection, First Aid and/or WHMIS
- Experience working on high-rise projects
- Tickets in Heavy Equipment Use
- Live in and have access to sites in Vancouver and Lower Mainland
