Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the technician will support administrative, operational, and maintenance activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform administrative follow-ups related to operations;
- Prepare various operational reports and documents;
- Participate in purchasing parts, supplies, and equipment required for operations;
- Follow up with suppliers;
- Maintain certain inventories, records, and tracking files up to date;
- Assist in planning and monitoring preventive maintenance activities;
- Provide support during equipment repairs and troubleshooting;
- Perform basic inspections and checks on equipment;
- Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives;
- Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment;
- Participate in health and safety activities when required;
- Perform any other related duties as needed;
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical training in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field (an asset);
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment;
- Good knowledge of computer tools and the Microsoft Office suite;
- English required (French considered an asset)
