Analyze the client's eyeglasses or contact lenses and by measuring the client's eye curvature, pupillary distance and bridge width, using optical measuring devicesObtain specifications for eyeglasses and contact lenses from a prescription prepared by an ophthalmologist or optometristAssist clients in selecting eyeglassesAdvise on use and care of contact lensesArrange for grinding or polishing of lenses or grind and polish lensesCut and edge lenses and fit lenses into framesAdjust finished eyeglasses to fit client
