Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Apply, level and smooth coats of plasterClean and prepare surfacesCure freshly plastered surfacesFinish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if requiredMix plaster ingredients to desired consistencyMould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trimSpray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilingsAttach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furringCut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outletsInstall corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be appliedEstimate costs and materialsWork at heights, on scaffolding or swing stagesErect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
