Position: Poultry Farm Head Manager
Wage: CAD$37.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30 40 hours/week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Direct and oversee the company's poultry sexing operations across multiple client hatcheries;
• Plan, organize, and coordinate staffing requirements and the deployment of poultry sexers to client hatcheries;
• Oversee personnel management activities, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and workforce planning, to ensure efficient poultry sexing operations and service quality;
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and quality control standards to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery;
• Monitor operational performance, staffing levels, and quality control records, and implement corrective measures as required;
• Liaise with hatchery management regarding contracts, service schedules, staffing requirements, and operational matters;
• Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies to maintain existing client relationships and expand the client base;
• Prepare, manage, and review budgets, financial records, operational reports, and personnel records;
• Authorize the purchase, maintenance, and allocation of equipment, supplies, and transportation resources;
• Analyze operational data and utilize digital technology and management systems to improve productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school; and
• Minimum 5 years of poultry farming experience obtained as a poultry farm supervisor or chick/turkey sorting supervisor, is required.
• A university degree or college diploma in agricultural management or other field related to poultry production is an asset.

Job Location: Various poultry farms/hatcheries in Lower Mainland, BC (primarily in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, BC)
