for an Aquatics Director to join us for the summer of 2026.
Club Kodiak is an overnight retreat program for Adults 19+ with
Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1). We offer an integrated
social skills program, a Life-skills program, and over 30 recreational activities. If you are

Aquatics Director: 1
Responsibilities of the Aquatics Director:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Waterfront and Pool to ensure the safety of all
swimmers, campers and staff
- Supervise and lead the Lifeguard team through all Aquatics programming and
training
- Oversee organization of structured swimming periods for small groups and open
swimming periods for medium sized groups
- Provide coaching and feedback to Lifeguard team to encourage skill development,
empowerment, and growth in their role
- Set expectations for Participants, Staff, and Lifeguard team at the Waterfront and pool
- Guard daily
- Administrative duties include: Creating and maintaining swim test records, pool chemical levels, ensuring all first aid supplies are stocked at both the waterfront and pool.
- Report to Director, Assistant Director, and Staff Coordinator of Camp Kodiak
Qualifications:
- Valid National Lifeguard (NL) Certification or willing to recertify before June 2026
- Valid First-Aid and CPR/AED Certification or willing to recertify before June 2026
- Lifeguarding experience is an asset (2+ years)
- Waterfront Director: 500+ Hours of Guarding experience, supervisory experience is
an asset (1+ year)
-Pool operators training certificate is an asset

(dependent on experience and certification) as well as room, board, and living
