A national leader in commercial truck leasing, rental, and fleet maintenance is hiring a Licensed Trailer Technician (310J / Red Seal) for its Mississauga shop. If you know trailers inside and out and want better tools, better pay, and a team that backs you, this one is worth a look.
The numbers and the schedule
- $38 to $42 per hour, plus shift premiums ($3.00 second shift, $4.00 third shift)
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Location: Mississauga, ON
What you'll own on the floor
You'll diagnose and repair all sizes of trailers with confidence and minimal supervision. The work spans hydraulic and air brake systems, heating and air conditioning units, suspension, structural and welding repairs, electrical and lighting, landing gear and doors, instruments and gauges, and full preventive maintenance. You'll identify the parts a job needs, document warrantable repairs, and keep your area clean and safe.
What you bring
- Proven trailer repair experience across a range of trailer types
- Active Red Seal or 310J (Truck Trailer Service Technician) license in good standing, with current provincial registration
- Comfort with welding and structural repair, brakes, and air systems
- Valid driver's license, or the ability to obtain the required class within 6 months
