Hiring a Restaurant Manager
- Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.
- Several years (2 3 years) of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
- Having Serving it Right certification is an asset.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Main duties are:

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant

Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

Recruit staff and oversee staff training

Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices

Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

30 hours per week (full-time & permanent position)

Wage: $36.60 per hour

Benefits: 4% of vacation fee or 10 days of paid vacation, free meals, gratuities and extended health insurance (after 3 months of employment)
