Clerk 4 – Legislative Services
Temporary Full-Time (anticipated end date July 15, 2027)
Are you a detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a high-performing team environment? Do you take pride in delivering exceptional administrative support with precision and professionalism? The District is hiring a Temporary Full-Time Clerk 4 – Legislative Services who will provide administrative support to the Legislative Services team. Our ideal candidate is highly organized with strong interpersonal skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. This role will act as a liaison between customers, agencies and staff members regarding the District’s Legislative Services function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers comprehensive administrative support with efficiency and professionalism
- Collaborates with internal staff regarding Council meetings, workflow and deadlines
- Composes routine correspondence and documents of various lengths and complexities with clarity and accuracy
- Handles telephone inquiries and provides courteous front desk reception for all visitors
What we’re looking for: Our ideal candidate will have an Office Administration Certificate, a Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field, a minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative capacity or as a Legal Administrative Assistant, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
