Position Overview
The City of Kamloops is seeking a permanent, full-time Real Estate Coordinator to join our team. As part of the Real Estate division, this position will be deeply integrated in the lease, purchase, sale and administration of City and City-required properties. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the legal documents associated with land development and property management, they will advise internal departments on real estate matters, and will draft legal documents related to land interests. The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Completion of a minimum of one (1) year in a Real Estate Licensing Program or Legal Assistant Program.
- Minimum three (3) years’ previous experience within real estate, real estate development, or property records management fields.
- Minimum one (1) years’ experience producing detailed legal documents related to land interests with a high degree of accuracy.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence.

This is a unionized position with CUPE Local 900; check out our Collective Agreement (2024 - 2025) for full details (ratified 2026 Collective Agreement coming soon). As this is a unionized position, all qualifications must be met in order to be shortlisted for the position.
For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. This is a CUPE local 900 position.
Hourly Rate
$49.381
Hours & Days of Work
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
This position will have the option for a modified work schedule (one extra day off every third week).
