The Centre for Indigenous Corporate Partnership (CICP) is a new and exciting national nonprofit that is quickly making its mark by advancing Indigenous prosperity through reciprocal allyship between Indigenous communities and Corporate Canada.
As CICP builds on its early success and expands its national reach, the organization is seeking a
Program & Relationship Manager to lead the delivery and continued development of its programming.
Working closely with CICP’s
incoming Executive Director, the Program & Relationship Manager will oversee the corporate-community secondment program from initial engagement and project scoping through delivery, evaluation, and follow-up. They will also play a central role in developing and launching CICP’s leadership and business accelerator program. At the heart of the role is relationship building. The Program & Relationship Manager will cultivate and steward trusted relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, leaders, and corporate partners as CICP’s network grows. They will facilitate conversations, translate community-defined priorities into well-structured projects, and bring together multidisciplinary teams with the right experience and expertise to deliver meaningful results. Throughout each engagement, they will mentor secondees and partners, navigate emerging challenges, and help ensure that projects achieve their intended capacity-building objectives.
As the ideal candidate, you are a thoughtful and credible relationship builder and advisor with a strong understanding of Indigenous communities, cultures, priorities, and relationship protocols. You may bring Indigenous lived experience or deep, long-standing, and reciprocal connections with Indigenous communities and organizations. You also bring experience in business, advisory, consulting, community development, socioeconomic development, or a related environment, together with demonstrated strength in project scoping, facilitation, and delivery. Experience driving collaborative projects with Indigenous communities is highly valued. You are comfortable supporting partners through complex engagements, balancing multiple priorities, and working hands-on in an entrepreneurial and evolving organization. Above all, you are motivated by the opportunity to build trusted partnerships and develop programs that create meaningful and lasting value for Indigenous communities.
