Warehouse Associate/Worker (Temporary to full time position)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. for day shift and $19.80/hr. for the afternoon shift
Day shift times: 6:15 am to 2:45 pm
Afternoon shift times: 3pm to 11:30pm
Available: Monday to Friday
Location: Oakville
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving, sortation, Clean & Screen functionality testing/Firmware upgrade and kitting production of electronics products
Report to the Department Head and Operations Managers
Can use RF scanner and computer for basic data entry.
Screen & Clean Replacing parts when required.
Responsible for any outbound shipments that need to be scanned, processed, and manifested.
Experience working in high-speed, high-volume environment.
Will need to scan and sort packages onto commercial pallets to specific locations indicated.
Ability to use material handling equipment such as a pallet jack and shrink wrap machine.
Maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing.
Attention to detail is must.
Required Skill Experience:
Must have a reliable car (due to location/commute).
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a General Labourer or Warehouse Associate.
Strong computer skills and general tech proficiency.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience working in high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e., testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer.
