We are seeking a Manager, Cloud Services & Infrastructure. This role is responsible for the delivery of cloud and infrastructure services that support Coastal Community’s Azure-first cloud strategy. The role leads day-to-day cloud operations, cloud engineering, migration delivery, and the ongoing improvement of cloud and supporting infrastructure services.
The Manager works within approved enterprise architecture, security, governance, and financial standards. The role manages the Cloud Services and Infrastructure team and coordinates delivery with internal teams and strategic partners.

What's the role?
Reporting to the VP, IT Operations, Infrastructure & Cyber Security, the Manager, Cloud Services and Infrastructure is responsible for delivering cloud and infrastructure services that support Coastal Community’s Azure-first cloud strategy. The role leads day-to-day cloud operations, cloud engineering, migration delivery, and the ongoing improvement of cloud and supporting infrastructure services.
The Manager works within approved enterprise architecture, security, governance, and financial standards. The role manages the Cloud Services and Infrastructure team and coordinates delivery with internal teams and strategic partners.
Your duties will include (high level summary):
- Deliver assigned cloud strategy initiatives through clear work plans, migration priorities, resource coordination, risk management, and measurable outcomes.
- Manage workload assessment, migration, modernization, stabilization, and decommissioning activities using approved architecture and delivery standards.
- Balance cloud transformation with the reliable operation and lifecycle management of existing infrastructure services.
- Provide clear delivery, service, cost, and risk reporting to the VP and relevant governance groups.
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, with clear accountability for service ownership, team delivery, cost controls, and continuous improvement within approved policies and standards.
- Provides effective leadership by creating a trusted environment that fosters collaboration and innovation, ensures a respectful, engaging, and productive work environment fostering a positive culture.
- Build internal capability in Azure operations, cloud financial management, automation, and modern service practices.
- Manage assigned partners and vendors to support delivery, service quality, cost control, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Support the Cloud Centre of Excellence by applying approved standards, guardrails, patterns, ownership models, and exception processes.
- Manage the availability, performance, capacity, support, maintenance, monitoring, lifecycle, service ownership, service levels, operational documentation, escalation paths, change controls, after-hours support, major incidents, recurring problems, recovery tests, control gaps, operational risks, and cloud financial management practices.
What are we looking for?
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technology discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant Azure or FinOps certification is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in infrastructure, cloud platforms, systems operations, or platform engineering, including at least three years in a people or technical supervisory leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience operating Microsoft Azure in a governed enterprise environment and managing cloud migration or modernization activities.
- Strong knowledge of Azure governance, landing zones, identity and access, networking, monitoring, compute, storage, backup, recovery, automation, and cost management.
- Experience with hybrid infrastructure, workload migration, managed cloud services, infrastructure as code, and service management.
- Working knowledge of cloud security, privacy, compliance, resilience, disaster recovery, and audit requirements.
- Experience leading teams, budgets, vendors, contracts, operational services, and technology projects.
- Ability to explain technical, operational, risk, and financial matters clearly to non-technical leaders.

Career Band Range (Annual Salary) - $106,173.00 to $117,970.00
The posted salary range is designed to reflect a broad career band, encompassing a variety of roles within our organization and serves as a general guideline. Your final compensation will be tailored to your unique skills, experience, and the responsibilities of the role.
