What You Will Do: Responsible for commercial, operational, and business development relationships with assigned accounts across various sectors in several regions. Apply conceptual selling methodology and best practices in relationship management for valuable customer interactions while delivering incremental revenue. Lead customer load request quotation activities from project initiation, internal coordination, customer communication, and timely in-service dates. Work in collaboration with internal departments, ensuring timely responses to load/service inquires through proactive project/timeline management. Negotiate commercial agreements with customers, including Distribution Contracts, confidentiality agreements, indemnification agreements, etc. Provide key market knowledge, customer insights, reporting, and recommendations to senior leaders and other internal stakeholders on complex matters. Directly contribute to the strategy, growth, and financial planning for the Industrial Market Development division. Who You Are: Six or more years of experience in energy, utilities, or a related field. Possess a university degree in a related field such as engineering, business, and economics. Understanding of regulatory environments, operational activity, finance knowledge, sales acumen, and growth strategies. Proven interpersonal, negotiation, leadership skills with demonstrated ability to take initiative, leading and handling change efficiently. Strong communication and presentation skills to provide input and make recommendations while leading without authority. Experience in project management preferred, experience with natural gas & electrical rate structures will be a plus. Designations such as CEM, P. Eng, MBA or CFA/CPA would be considered an asset, though not required. Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions. Stress levels can be above normal at times as the work is highly visible. Numerous, often competing interests must be managed concurrently whilst negotiating/influencing. Regular travel required, e.g., Enbridge offices and field locations, customer locations in Canada, occasionally requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
