Location: St. Catharines, ON
Assignment: Temporary (3 months, January - March 2025)
Hours of work: 40 per week (afternoon shift)
Salary : Step 1: $42.13/hour Step 2*: $44.94/hour
*After the 90-day work probation period
Your role
Are you interested in playing a key role in ensuring the success of the team? How about being responsible for the safe and efficient planning of the inspection work to ensure long-term reliability of the Seaway’s infrastructures, buildings and equipment?

Your responsibilities
- Perform inspections and follow up of various elements of the civil, mechanical and electrical infrastructures and facilities to ensure that they are in accordance with the drawings, specifications and applicable regulations.
- Update the data in the applicable computer system.
- Prepare and complete inspection reports.
- Provide technical assistance to the maintenance group.
Your profile
- College Diploma in civil engineering technology or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of relevant technical experience.
- Specific knowledge of the inspection techniques and practices of the field of expertise.
- Knowledge of the quality assurance and quality control methods and procedures.
- Expertise in the relevant computer applications, tools and software (e.g.: Microsoft Office, SAP etc.).
- Eligible for certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.
- Valid Class G (ON) driver's license and insurable driving record.
