Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity We are looking for a Frontend Software Developer that has experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Contract Term: 12 months. Location: You will be based in either our Toronto, Montreal, Burnaby or Sackville office and will work in a hybrid model. Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Software Development and Architecture. Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Support and extend Moneris digital marketing websites, marketing landing pages, and other projects requiring frontend software development skills. Work with our internal users to understand their needs and identify opportunities for improvement. Participate in the architecture and design process for new projects with marketing and UX/UI experts. Analyze requirements and develop, and/or repair software. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate your frontend code with their backend code. Test your software and deploy it to production. Resolve both simple and complex issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrate knowledge of software development best practices for the full software development life cycle. Your Moneris Career - What you bring Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent. Professional work experience in software development (3+ years). Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience working within an Agile methodology (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, or similar) Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Jira. Familiarity with Figma (viewing designs only). Nice-to-have... A portfolio showcasing your work, which could include previous projects, side projects, websites you’ve built, or experimental apps. Experience with Sitecore or another content management system. Experience with Pardot landing pages. Experience with Node.js, React, C#, or PHP. Proficiency in French.
