Responsibilities

To answer incoming telephone calls immediately in a courteous and cheerful manner
To politely greet all customers, suppliers, truck drivers/couriers, employees and guests that enter the office... make them want to come back for more!
Respond to inquiries by phone, e-mail, or in person and provide correct information or direct them to the appropriate contacts
Handle all aspects of POS transactions
Prepare mail and courier packages for pick up
Order/maintain all office supplies and keep desk, reception area, and supply room tidy and organized
Facilitate the maintenance of all office equipment
Keep office lunchroom tidy and organized - responsible for emptying the dishwasher and coffee vendor management
Learn, update, and maintain knowledge of all products and their functions/applications as well as all organizational team-members
Admin support for various departments as needed when capacity available
Other assistance as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Previous experience in an office environment or administrative education
Previous experience with shipping/receiving processes an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with a diverse group of people (command of verbal and listening skills, phone etiquette, email tone, body language, legible handwriting etc.)
Good comprehension/execution of Microsoft programs (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented as well as possess excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
Flexible and adaptable
Confident and assertive yet has a charming demeanour
Able to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
