Position
We are seeking a strategic and tactical Senior Vice President of Product to help define our multi-product platform strategy, own and maintain a complex set of roadmaps, and assume ownership of all facets of the Product function. This role requires a dynamic leader with expertise in managing complex enterprise SaaS solutions, integrating acquired products and teams, and driving operational excellence through metrics-driven methodologies. The ideal candidate will have an empathetic and supportive management style with an enthusiasm for mentoring product team resources of all levels, while inspiring cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results, by executing with a sense of urgency achieved through collaboration and decisive action.
The SVP of Product will report to the CPTO and oversee a team of Product Directors/Managers, Quality Assurance professionals, and UX experts across multiple time zones. This position will build and execute the product roadmap - ensuring alignment with key business goals - and deliver high-quality, customer-centric solutions based on market research, customer engagement data, and executive input. The role requires a collaborative ethos, strong analytical mindset, and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. This leader will work closely with peers in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success, as well as liaise with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and communicate product vision aligned with company goals to inspire stakeholders
- Adapt product platform to meet future offerings and evolving market demands
- Identify opportunities for multi-year roadmap driving product evolution and innovation
- Align product strategy with business and go-to-market initiatives for growth
Roadmap Management & Execution
- Manage end-to-end roadmap process and communicate directly with senior stakeholders
- Set KPIs to track roadmap execution, quality, and scrum team performance
- Lead continuous improvement in functionality, quality, and UX to boost impact
- Represent product to executive leadership, providing updates on progress and priorities
- Champion a customer-first mindset in all product decisions and strategies
Portfolio Management & M&A Integration
- Manage multi-product portfolio with overlapping and mutually supportive roadmaps
- Lead product integration for acquisitions, harmonizing offerings and unifying platforms
- Address product gaps from acquisitions and facilitate seamless team integration
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead Product Management, QA, and UX teams across multiple time zones
- Foster an environment of professional growth, learning, and high performance
- Empower and mentor product resources across all levels
- Foster collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Product Optimization & Adoption
- Monitor product adoption to identify opportunities to maximize product-market fit and optimize features
- Lead initiatives to boost engagement, reduce churn, and increase customer satisfaction
- Use analytics and insights to identify friction points and enhance customer experience
- Lead product operations with customer-centric and data-driven focus
- Leverage data, analytics, and feedback to guide product direction
Requirements
- A minimum of 10+ years professional experience in Product Management for complex enterprise SaaS solutions
- At least 5+ years in a senior leadership position (VP, SVP, etc.)
- Well versed in multi-product portfolios including rationalization/sunsetting strategies
- Experience managing teams of at least 25+ people, with a minimum of 4-6 direct reports
- Expertise in product-led development and Agile methodologies
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills focused on customer insights and KPIs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience leading distributed, global teams in cross-functional collaboration
- Proven track record in driving business transformation
- Skilled in product development from customer feedback to market delivery
