Job Summary: The Intermediate Architectural Designer will play a vital role in contributing to the design development and implementation of institutional and healthcare architecture projects. Coordinate with the design team to ensure seamless integration of architectural elements with other disciplines. Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in institutional and healthcare architecture. Collaborate with the Senior Architectural Designer and Project Manager to meet project timelines and deliverables. Participate in client meetings and engage in design discussions to understand client needs and incorporate feedback into design iterations. Demonstrate an understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards applicable to institutional and healthcare architecture projects. Actively contribute to design charrettes and workshops to promote a collaborative design culture within the firm. Assist in the preparation of architectural specifications and material selections. Qualifications: Post-Secondary diploma or degree in an architecturally related field. 4+ years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on institutional and healthcare projects in Canada. Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong design and visualization skills to convey design concepts effectively. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and a commitment to integrating environmental strategies into projects. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to institutional and healthcare architecture. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
