Carmichael Engineering is looking for a skilled Hvac technician (Gas tech B is an asset). in the Sydney, NS area.
Job responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Assisting with customers' queries.
Requirements:
- 5 years HVAC trades experience
- Gas B license is an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- Work with Management to promote and utilize safe work practices.
