Inspiration Learning Center has an English teacher opening who want to work part-time in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and be comfortable teaching students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12.
Job Summary
- Teach international and Local students English in person, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Textbook and teaching support are provided.
- Small class size, usually 2 – 4 students or 1-1 private class.
- Students may have just a little English knowledge in fundamental class.
- Students ages from 6 to 18 but might be younger or older.
- 30, 1 hour or 90 minutes, or 2 hours per class.
- Available Monday to Friday after 3:30 pm Saturday availability.
- Can teach from home, clean, tidy, and quiet room background required.
- Flexible schedule, usually lessons will be set up in the early morning and/or evening due to time zone differences.
- Must be familiar with Ontario Elementary and high school G9-12 curriculum
A great candidate for this position will possess the following:
- A bachelor's degree with a major in English or Education related.
- ESL teacher qualification TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certificate preferred.
- Ontario certified teacher preferred.
- Ontario Public school and Private school teachers are preferred.
- Two years or more of teaching experience is preferred.
- Lively, vibrant, and engaging teaching styles are preferred.
