Our client, a global engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing diverse projects with a focus on working with municipalities, particularly Metro Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multidisciplinary projects, including mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Metro Vancouver stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering growth and skill development.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to maintain project success.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- 5–10 years of total experience, including 3–5 years in a project management role.
- Must have experience working directly with Metro Vancouver or on projects for Metro Vancouver.
- Background in engineering, project management, or a related field (PMP certification or P.Eng designation is an asset).
- Proven ability to manage diverse project types, including mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, particularly in stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
