Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with Engineering, Operations, Health and Safety, and Customers on the seamless execution of landed projects.
- Ensure all work is completed on budget, on time, and in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Ensure all field crews have the equipment, materials, and appropriately-skilled personnel to complete the project
- Promote a safety first culture by working in a safe manner & adhering to all safety policies & procedures
- Work with Field Services scheduler, purchasing etc. to resolve any with any anticipated staffing needs/changes and material purchases to avoid project delays
- Responsible for quality control of all completed work both onsite and in-house
- Gather all necessary project information and costs for the purposes of compiling and writing up change notices and out of scope work (extras)
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3 + years of Project management experience in the manufacturing industry
- Post-secondary education preferred with a background in mechanical design or engineering
- Project Management Professional certification or desire to pursue
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, time and budget management skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD True View
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems with preference for experience working with Microsoft NAV Dynamics
- Willing and able to travel to customer locations as needed
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
