Description: ATCO Frontec is seeking a
Housekeeper to support our remote camp in Menihek, NL. The Housekeeper is responsible to maintain cleanliness and hygienic conditions within the camp.
Rotation:
- 14 hour shifts
- Rotation is 14 days on and 14 days off
- Travel days are not paid
Responsibilities: - Maintain clean and hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen units.
- Make beds, changes sheets, distributes clean towels and toiletries
- Wash, dry, and fold linens and towels
- Assist in laundry as needed
- Dust and vacuum all furniture and draperies
- Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- Ensure adherence to all government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health and Safety, policies and procedures
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset
- 1 or more years of housekeeping experience in the camp or hotel industry is considered an asset
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent people skills
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment
Final candidates will be required to undergo a criminal record check, drug and alcohol test.
