Our client in the gaming industry is seeking a contract based Business Analyst to work on their digital initiatives.
Duration: 12 months
Location: hybrid 3d/week Toronto
Responsibilities
- Develop large to complex business cases and defines Acceptance Criteria for key initiatives.
- Participate in Digital Lab projects, delivering new products or significant changes impacting multiple products.
- Develop Acceptance Test Strategy and Approach across multiple domains, applying risk-based assessment frameworks to ensure test strategy alignment.
- Lead Oversight, Triage, Planning, Development, and Execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare and presents demos, risks/issues, and remediation strategies to senior leadership.
- Resolves challenges across business lines, vendors, and internal teams.
- Manages budgets ranging from $1M to $5M, ensuring high-stakes initiatives are delivered successfully without reputational or financial risk.
- Acts as a player-coach, performing hands-on business analysis while mentoring others on cross-functional initiatives.
- Works with large datasets related to player activity, interpreting and analyzing trends for business impact.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within digital products or gaming sectors.
- Strong Agile experience, including working within Agile teams.
- Hands-on experience with business analysis methods and processes.
- Ability to develop Acceptance Test Strategies and align them using risk-based assessments.
- Proficiency in issue tracking/requirements management tools (e.g., Confluence, Kanbanize, JIRA, HP ALM).
- Experience in multiple functional domains, such as Casino, App Delivery, and Lottery.
- Familiarity with customer onboarding processes (e.g., registration, login, geolocation, player communications) across different channels (Web/App).
- Digital gaming industry experience.
