Position description
The Visual and Material Cultures Studies Program at Mount Allison University (Sackville, NB) is seeking a part-time instructor to teach the seminar VMCS 4991 Anime, Manga, and Comic Books for the Fall term of the 2025-2026 academic year, subject to budgetary approval.
The course is to be delivered online (timetabled for Wednesday, 6:30 to 7:50 pm, with an unscheduled tutorial). The anticipated enrolment is 60-65 students. The selected candidate will not be required to relocate to Sackville, NB.
A Master’s degree or commensurate teaching experience in this area is required. PhD candidates are welcome to apply.
