About the EComm team:
We're a hybrid team coming into the office 3 days a week.
We are a team of 8 which include the manager, coordinator, and merchandisers. Our team culture is one of open communication and collaboration - an environment that encourages team members to ask questions and stay curious about the notion that no idea is a bad idea. It is very important to our team that we come together to problem-solve and look for ways to improve our workflows and processes so we can learn from each other's experiences.
What You’ll Do:
Visual Merchandising & Product Presentation: Own the visual layout of product detail pages and product listing pages amongst others. Ensure they align with Article's brand voice and appeal to our core customer segments. Exercise authority over how products are displayed within your categories. This includes arrangement, featured items, and promotional highlights. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising strategies and innovations.
Featured Products and Promotions: Design and implement marketing campaigns or collections that reflect current trends and consumer behavior.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective merchandising strategies that drive sales and improve customer engagement. Ensure the visual presentation of products has high-quality imagery and descriptions that resonate with our target audience.
Data Insights: Utilize analytics to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions to enhance product visibility and conversion rates.
A/B Testing: Conduct tests to optimize product presentations and improve engagement and conversions.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years experience in digital merchandising with a strong understanding of eCommerce tools, platforms, and consumer behavior
- Proven analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform strategic decisions
- Creative flair with an eye for detail, ensuring our online store is visually appealing and aligns with Article's brand identity
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in eCommerce retail with a fashion and lifestyle focus or high price point catalogs is a plus
- Working knowledge of analytics tools such as GA4, Heap, Contentsquare or similar eCommerce analytic tools.
- Experience with BigCommerce and CMS systems like Contentful.
- eCommerce courses on digital merchandising best practices or similar
- Proven track record in delivering KPI improvements within the Digital Merchandising role
- Hands-on experience with merchandising and personalization tools (e.g., Bloomreach, Algolia).
- Proficient with G-suite or related software
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Completion of criminal background check
