Calian is seeking a Forensic Psychologist to join our national team of experts providing risk assessments for Correctional Services across Canada. This role involves conducting comprehensive psychological risk assessments for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, helping inform decisions related to parole, rehabilitation, and public safety. This role requires the forensic psychologist to conduct onsite assessments at Dorchester Complex on a part-time basis.

Key Duties Include
- Conduct structured professional judgment and actuarial risk assessments (e.g., HCR-20, PCL-R, Static-99) to evaluate the risk of recidivism and violent behavior.
- Provide detailed psychological reports outlining risk factors, treatment recommendations, and supervision considerations.
- Collaborate with parole officers, correctional staff, and legal professionals to ensure informed decision-making.
- Conduct clinical interviews and file reviews to assess mental health, risk factors, and treatment needs.
- Maintain high professional and ethical standards in forensic psychological evaluations.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the last 5 years in correctional, forensic, clinical, or counselling psychology.
- Completion of at least 5 psychological risk assessments within the last 5 years.
