What will you do in this job?:
- Help prepare the hotel, staff accommodations , and a variety of other buildings for opening /closing
- Responsible for a variety of general maintenance and repair & other improvements to buildings, equipment, grounds, and facilities
- Trash removal and hauling for disposal
- Performs routine quality checks to prevent foreseeable maintenance issues
- M aintains and authentically restores guest rooms , common areas and other building s on property
- Completes and assists Maintenance Manager with ongoing projects
- Tracks and manages work orders and requests via internal software
- Communicates effectively with all departments to ensure their maintenance needs are met
- Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to manager
- Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
- Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
- Perform other duties as directed by Management
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
- Experience in facilities maintenance required
- Experience in painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and equipment repair preferred
- Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key.
- Willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
