Sr. Product Analyst, Technology Merchandising & Analytics, Brampton, ON
The role of the Sr. Product Analyst, Technology Merchandising & Analytics is to partner and work with various business stakeholders on stability and project-based tasks impacting in the Capabilities specific to Merchandising
A key function in the responsibilities of the Sr. Product Analyst will include, providing technical support and guidance, elevating their technical knowledge and skillset to understand system functionality facilitating end-user support to the Merchandising community. This is while partnering with various Loblaw Technology and Analytics Product Families to support the end-to-end pricing and promotion solution
What You’ll Do:
- Review design various pricing and promotion capability design documents to understand system functionality and provide feedback in collaboration with business stakeholder sponsors
- Elicitation of new requirements for projects or enhancements within the supported capabilities of Merchandising
- Working with LTA delivery teams to ensure that Project and Enhancement development meets Business Needs (Requirements Traceability/Story mapping)
- Responsible to ensure that new technology implementations or enhancements are reflected in training content to ensure we have the most up to date material
- Review and sign off on SIT (Systems Integrated Testing) results to ensure SIT has been executed thoroughly
- Coordinate and partner with various business stakeholders addressing concerns when testing, ensuring success in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) execution
- Responsible for level 2 support where the category teams may need review of incidents along with monitoring of escalated tickets for fixes and enhancements across BY and SAP
- Provide feedback on escalated pricing and promotion related incidents at the Merchandising Task Force Meeting with Category Directions and Category Super Users
- Ensure that integration and data is in sync between Merchandising Applications and SAP via current available reporting and processes including execution of fixes when applicable
- Analyze, root cause, resolve and explain system and/or process issues impacting our business stakeholder groups
- Maintaining the Knowledge Base articles to ensure National support team are equipped with the most up to date information to be able to resolve Business Stakeholders Incidents in a timely manner
- Participating and documenting product roadmaps related to Pricing, Promotions, Assortment and Reporting applications
What you Bring:
- Post-secondary education at either the college or university level
- Experience working within SAP pricing environments
- Previous experience with SAS solutions ensuring seamless integration
- Proven ability to respond to new situations and work in a constantly changing environment
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines
- Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills required for communicating to all levels within the organization.
- A self-started with demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
