Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity As a key member of our Marketing team, the Manager, Marketing Automation & Lifecycle serves as a crucial link between MarCom, IT, and our external customer audience. Part of this role requires the ability to liaise within the MarCom team and then translate that marketing vision to a technology implementation to deliver on marketing goals. This role must understand the valuable potential of automation to streamline the functions of the Sales, IT, Operations and Marketing teams. You should understand how systems could interconnect to integrate data between platforms. You will also own our lifecycle marketing strategy, inclusive of the corporate customer onboarding program (Welcome Cadence) as well as additional touchpoints throughout the entire journey, through to retention initiatives and win-back. You will be responsible for triggered-based initiatives such as Order Confirmations, educational-based success campaigns for additional support, and demand generation programs such as upsell campaigns – all to ensure the seamless onboarding, strong solution adoption, and valuable tenure with Moneris. Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model. Reporting Relationship: You will report to Director, Growth and Lifestyle Marketing Your Moneris Career - What you'll do MARTECH / MARKETING AUTOMATION Own and optimize the marketing automation tech stack (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Zapier, etc.), ensuring efficient processes and best practices. Manage full integration & optimization of marketing systems (CRM, CDP, automation, email, RTIM orchestration, etc); oversee and implement automation strategy and roadmap for future enhancements. Oversee and architect data models, integrations/optimizations, and system requirements for data attribution and data cleanliness. Manage reporting and overall lead data management Be a super-user and product evangelist for a variety of digital tools. Evaluate new technologies and add-on features to improve performance or support future marketing needs. Manage system audits and governance, vendor and partner management. Collaborate with partners to understand digital marketing goals to ensure understanding of project outcomes and meet strategic and tactical needs. Partner with developers and program managers to establish timelines and ensure delivery of projects and requests. Lead cross-functional project teams to plan, run and optimize campaigns across multiple channels to improve performance, reach, and return on investment of digital marketing activities, to support key business outcomes. Lead a team of direct reports; facilitate training on all systems and processes to broader marketing and sales teams, and support marketing during campaign planning meetings to enable use of systems. Establish and maintain a clear, succinct and well-documented testing and UAT process for program enhancements. CUSTOMER LIFECYCLE Lead the design, implementation, and management of marketing automation workflows and campaigns to support customer acquisition, onboarding, retention, and reactivation. Develop and optimize lifecycle marketing strategies, using data-driven insights to personalize customer journeys and drive engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and ensure integrated customer experiences. Oversee email marketing, segmentation, A/B testing, reporting and analysis, to continuously improve campaign performance. Manage and analyze customer data to inform segmentation, targeting, and campaign personalization efforts. Lead the planning, design and the execution processes of Moneris' corporate merchant onboarding program (Welcome Cadence). Support product launches and internal Change Requests (CRs – approx. 30/year) related to customer boarding and lifecycle, driving on-time delivery of all projects. Oversee program creative and design to ensure highest level of engagement. Fully manage program performance and attribution to marketing KPIs, including MQLs, SQLs, Pipeline and Revenue contribution (source and influence). Send regular snapshots to management on performance metrics and KPIs, making thoughtful and strategic recommendations for campaign optimizations. Support our A/B testing strategy for email communications, using a data-driven approach to improve the success rate. Your Moneris Career - What you bring Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Marketing Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution Minimum of 8-10 years of Marketing/digital experience Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset Experience in managing a team Experience with A/B & multi-variate email testing & data analysis 8+ years of experience in digital marketing in B2B or a technology company Fluency with multiple marketing technology platforms ( e.g. Google Analytics, Salesforce, Microsoft, Marketing Cloud, Pardot) Experience with HTML/CSS to format & create emails Deep understanding of digital marketing, email marketing and trends.
