Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to work alongside our federal client in Dorchester, NB
Qualifications And Experience Required
- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Current license in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of New Brunswick.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing primary care as a Physiotherapist.
- All experience must be strictly work-related.
- Experience must be demonstrated through a history of past projects, either completed or on-going.
Tasks
- Conduct weekly physiotherapy clinics at multiple sites;
- Assess the patients, commence treatment and evaluate the efficacy of the treatment given;
- Provide to the Physician a description of the assessment, commencement of treatment and the evaluation of the efficacy of the treatment given;
- Treat patients with physical exercises, mechanical apparatus, massage mobilization, the application of heat or cold, light, water or electronics, or any combination of these treatments;
- Be able to work as a member of the professional Health Services team for the delivery of services;
- Enter patients’ treatment report and recommendations into a Medical Record system;
- Prepare physiotherapy clinic lists and appointment schedules triaged based on consults received and emergencies as they arise.
