Client and Role Description
Our client is a Large Non-Profit Organization, seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in ERP finance systems to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise finance solutions such as Business World, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms. This role requires expertise in financial processes, system implementation, and process optimization to support business objectives. The position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in Canada.
Finance System Implementation & Integration
- Lead technical requirements gathering, process mapping / design, and gap analysis sessions with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Drive finance ERP system migration to ensure acceptance criteria is met according to success factors
- Identify pain points in finance operations and propose scalable, cost-effective solutions.
- Work closely with finance and IT teams to analyze business needs and translate them into ERP system solutions.
- Support ERP configuration, integration, and optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system alignment with business objectives and financial reporting requirements.
- Assist in data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Develop and execute test plans, UAT scripts, and training materials to support system deployment.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance financial operations.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Stakeholder Communication & Change Management
- Act as a bridge between finance, IT, and leadership teams, ensuring alignment on financial system improvements.
- Present findings, recommendations, and prototypes to key stakeholders.
- Influence senior leaders with data-driven insights and strategic proposals.
- Develop and manage change initiatives, ensuring successful system adoption across finance teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on ERP finance systems.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise finance platforms, such as Business World, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proven ability to work on ERP implementations, upgrades, or system optimizations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data migration, system integrations, and reporting tools is an asset.
