We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of Warehouse Supervisor. Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position and will be based in Labrador West, NL requiring candidates to work a 7-days on/7-days off (12-hour rotation).
Job Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse store persons' daily activities.
- Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
- Track inventory levels.
- Order new supplies on time and maintain minimum stock levels.
- Develop and coordinate cycle count procedures.
- Lead review for slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Lead operations and maintenance teams in eliminating shadow inventory.
- Constantly work to improve processes.
- Make suggestions for productivity improvements.
- Optimize employee workflow.
- Determine and track warehouse KPIs.
- Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members.
- Play a key role as the maintenance and operations team contact.
- Follow all safety and environmental standards.
- Develop and enforce standard work for warehouse tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills And Qualifications
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with an ERP system (Ellipse)
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
Education & Experience
- Post Secondary Education in a relatable field or equivalent experience
License
- Driver’s License (Required)
