Health Services – Health Strategy, Planning and Partnerships
Status: Contract Full-Time Approximately 13 months Salary Range: $92,153 - $115,189 per annum (plus comprehensive benefits)Work Mode: Hybrid* (see below for more details)Location: 7120 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, ONHours of Work: 35 hours per week

As a Performance & Quality Specialist, you'll play a key role in advancing a culture of quality and enhancing service delivery across Peel Health Services.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead process development and improvement initiatives
- Provide expert guidance on quality and performance frameworks
- Apply statistical models to identify enhancement opportunities
- Coach teams on data-driven decision-making
- Develop reports, presentations, and recommendations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Optimize business performance
What You Bring to the Role:
Education & Experience:
- University degree in Health Administration, Business/Public Administration, Science, or Engineering
- Minimum of two years of experience in quality and process management, facilitating process improvement initiatives
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and process improvement tools
- Ability to provide expert advice on strategic and operational initiatives
- Experience with formal problem-solving methodologies
- Excellent facilitation skills with knowledge of various facilitation techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with internal clients, government agencies, and stakeholders
- Ability to maintain focus, energy, and a positive attitude in dynamic environments
- Proven ability to encourage innovative problem-solving approaches
- Customer-focused mindset and approach
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a project environment with knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Certifications (Preferred):
- Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt or Green Belt) by ASQ or NAHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) is an asset

Work Mode & Location Details:
In this role, you’ll benefit from a hybrid work arrangement that fosters meaningful in-person connections. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement allows for a blend of in-person and remote work to balance organizational priorities and employee flexibility.
Note: Your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
