Overview
Rebel.com is on the hunt for a strategic, creative, and data-driven Manager of Brand and Marketing to elevate our brand and product offerings in a highly competitive domain and hosting industry. This role will blend brand storytelling and product marketing expertise, ensuring our products are not just technically superior, but also emotionally resonant and easily understood by businesses, entrepreneurs, and creators of all kinds.
You will own the development of compelling messaging, impactful go-to-market strategies, and customer-focused campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and long-term loyalty. By working cross-functionally with product, sales, support, and external creative agencies, you will ensure our brand stands out, our products deliver value, and our marketing efforts drive measurable growth.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in shaping how products are marketed, while also defining and maintaining the larger brand narrative.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Marketing & Messaging Development- Develop clear, differentiated, and customer-centric product positioning for all Rebel.com offerings.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into simple, relatable value propositions that resonate with different customer segments.
- Continuously refine messaging based on customer feedback, competitive insights, and campaign performance.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution- Own and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, from positioning to launch plans, ensuring seamless cross-team execution.
- Collaborate with product, support, and sales teams to gather insights and align messaging.
- Lead the development of campaign briefs for creative partners to bring product stories to life across channels.
Campaign Planning & Performance- Partner with the product team and creative agencies to develop integrated campaigns that drive awareness, acquisition, and retention.
- Define campaign KPIs, oversee performance tracking, and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Create and manage an ongoing marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with business goals, seasonal trends, and product launches.
Customer Insights & Market Research- Gather and synthesize customer insights through research, surveys, interviews, and data analysis.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, customer pain points, and competitor positioning to proactively evolve our messaging and approach.
- Use insights to inform product enhancements, new features, and future marketing campaigns.
Content & Asset Development- Work with creative partners (agencies, freelancers) to produce high-impact brand and product content, including landing pages, videos, email campaigns, and social assets.
- Partner with internal content teams to shape product-related blogs, case studies, and educational resources.
- Ensure all content is aligned with the broader brand story and product value propositions.
Agency & Partner Management- Select, onboard, and maintain relationships with external creative and marketing agencies, ensuring alignment with brand vision and strategic goals.
- Oversee briefing, reviews, and approvals of creative work and campaigns delivered by agencies.
- Monitor agency performance and project budgets, ensuring efficient spend and strong ROI.
Data, Measurement & Optimization- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across brand and product campaigns.
- Analyze campaign data and product performance metrics to continuously improve tactics, creative, and messaging.
- Leverage A/B testing, customer feedback, and analytics tools to optimize customer journeys and conversion paths.
Brand Strategy & Positioning- Define and maintain Rebel.com’s brand positioning, tone of voice, and messaging framework, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Craft storytelling that brings emotion and personality into the domain and hosting space, making it accessible, engaging, and distinct from competitors.
- Work with creative teams (in-house and agency) to ensure all brand and product assets align with strategic goals and reflect our brand ethos.
Key Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or marketing leadership, ideally in technology, SaaS, or digital services.
- Experience in the domain, hosting, or web services industry is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of building and executing successful go-to-market strategies and campaigns that drive measurable growth.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to transform technical features into compelling customer narratives.
- Experience working with creative agencies to develop brand assets, content, and campaigns.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform strategy and optimize performance.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment, partnering with product, support, and creative teams.
- Self-starter with excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and customer-centric language.
