Job Description
We are seeking an Advanced Analytics Senior Manager who will lead the development and deployment of analytics projects for the global marketing and sales organization. The role requires strong business acumen and hands-on experience with programming and statistics to help answer business questions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as analytics translator to business decision makers
- Define business problems that analytics can help solve
- Lead the end-to-end deployment of analytics projects
- Deep, hands-on development of Predictive and Machine learning models to address business challenges
- Experience with extracting, cleaning, and transforming data for building data science models
- Help create analytics roadmaps, assess project feasibility, business impact, and scope to prioritize projects
- Communicate technical concepts & information to a non-technical audience in a clear & compelling manner
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
- Evaluate external partners across different dimensions for analytics initiatives
- Partner with IT to align on data architecture, data infrastructure, tools, and technologies
- Leverage data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Data Studio, Domo) to simplify & automate data sharing
- Advocate for analytics-driven cultural change within the commercial organization
- Work closely with commercial team to identify analytical projects and opportunities
- Display a growth mindset & 'can do' attitude
- Strong sense of accountability for the delivery/timeline of key initiatives and projects
- Comfortable with ambiguity, demonstrating capability to thrive with minimal oversight and navigate complex processes
- Collaborate with internal and external team members to share data science best practices and apply learning
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years in applied Data analytics/Data science and quantitative programming
- 2+ years of professional experience leading teams
- Proficiency with SQL
- Proficiency with Python or R; experience with advanced machine learning techniques, causal inference, and statistical modeling
- Experience with Data Visualization tools like Google Data Studio, DOMO, Power BI, and Tableau
- Experience with customer analytics
- Experience with cloud environments (Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform) and SAP
- Understanding of data architecture and data engineering, and ML ops
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in quantitative field
