Versys is looking for a motivated 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice whos ready to take their skills beyond construction and start building a career in commissioning.
Why a 3rd Year? At this stage, youve already gained solid construction or industrial experienceinstalling conduit, cable tray, junction boxes, lights, and plugsand youve built a working knowledge of electrical code. That foundation makes you the perfect fit to step onto our projects and grow toward commissioning and startup work.
What Youll Do
- Take on project-based construction scope: conduit, cable tray, junction boxes, lights, and receptacles
- Work in industrial environments alongside journeymen and commissioning specialists
- Apply your understanding of electrical code in real-world project settings
- Gain exposure to commissioning, testing, and startup activities with mentorship and training
What You Bring
- Current 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice standing
- Previous construction or industrial project experience (minimum 23 years in the trade)
- Hands-on skills with conduit, tray, boxes, and fixtures
- A general understanding of electrical code and safe work practices
- Motivation to grow into commissioning and advance your career
