Role: Senior BI Analyst
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)
Contract: 1 year (Possible Extension)

- Deep knowledge of analytics with power BI. 5 + years of using power BI to support decision making.
- Experience supporting data engineering projects and developers.
- Is there any technical tools/ skills that would stand out right away?
- Python, Sequel, DAX knowledge.
- Ideal years of experience for the role?
- 8-10 years of experience.
- What does their day to day look like?
- Supporting development, documentation requirements and processes, following epics user stories and agile ceremonies.
- What did not work out with the last interviews/candidate?
- No knowledge of DAX, oversold his technical experience in language such as DAX. Analyst was working as a data analyst in the business unit and not in IT. In the interview, candidate was able to explain general technical knowledge but had actually never worked on technical side, just had knowledge on it.
- What are some interview questions you would ask in regards to specific knowledge on tool/systems that require day to day input?
- Technical questions. Projects they have worked on, how complex of a projects have they been a part of, influence of their solutions, questions around good practices.

- What is the in office days policy? Hours per Day?
- 2-3 days in office. 7.5 hours.
