Your New Role
As a Senior Electrical & Mechanical Project Manager , you will provide senior technical and project leadership across a diverse construction portfolio. Acting as the technical authority for mechanical and electrical systems, you will guide design development, constructability, and execution strategies while ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.
You’ll manage the full lifecycle of M&E scopes on large-scale projects—from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover. This includes overseeing schedules, procurement, installation, and integrated systems commissioning. You will also lead value-engineering initiatives, optimize system performance, and liaise with consultants, authorities, and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive M&E project delivery experience within ICI or mission-critical construction
- Proven success managing large, complex, fast-track, or retrofit projects in sensitive environments
Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical diploma
- Professional designation: P.Eng., C.E.T., or Master Electrician (ME)
- Strong knowledge of CSA, ASHRAE, NFPA, and ESA codes
- Proficiency in project management and construction software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, MS Office suite)
