We are is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimating Supervisor to oversee and manage cost control processes for residential construction projects. This role is responsible for monitoring budgets, analyzing variances, managing purchase orders, and ensuring financial accuracy throughout the building cycle. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in cost control or estimating within the homebuilding industry, and the ability to lead a team while collaborating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost control systems and procedures to ensure accurate project costing and reporting.
- Monitor budgets and track actual costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring alignment with budgets and contractual agreements.
- Analyze cost variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Work closely with the construction, and accounting teams to maintain cost integrity.
- Prepare and distribute cost reports and forecasts to management on a regular basis.
- Support the Controller and management team in financial planning, audits, and year-end processes.
- Provide leadership, training, and oversight to the estimating team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for cost management.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control, estimating, or financial analysis within residential construction or homebuilding.
- Experience with Sage 300, Homefront, or similar ERP systems is an asset.
