Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Reports To: Talent Acquisition Manager
Based at: Mucci Pac Ltd., Kingsville, Ontario

Type of Employment: Full time, permanent, extended hours depending on workload and priorities, which may include Saturdays.
Responsibilities Include:
- The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
- Determine selection criteria
- Source potential candidates through online channels (eg: social platforms and professional networks)
- Identify best practices for recruiting and sourcing candidates to ensure effectiveness for time to hire
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including pre-screening candidates, assessments, skills testing, panel interviews, references
- Create and update job descriptions to reflect position requirements
- Organize employer branding initiatives related to recruiting
- Source and organize various recruitment events such as career fairs, online campaigns, etc.
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Maintain a database of both active and potential candidates
Qualifications:
- Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Proficiency with social media, resume databases including LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
- Working knowledge of ADP WFN would be strongly preferred
- Hands on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- A high degree of urgency and effectiveness is required for this role
- Ability to deal with multiple positions simultaneously as well as mass recruitment initiatives
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, (verbal and written communication)
- A strong understanding of the various roles within organizations; the ability to recruit at the various levels of the organization
- Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis
- Knowledge of HR related policies and procedures
- Excellent documentation, communication, computer and time management skills
- Some travel to local (Windsor/Essex County) career fairs or community events is required
Physical Abilities:
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
- Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
